Brief Bio of Coral Michelin


This website is the result of almost 28 years of intense passions, many travels around the world, many rich encounters, and an insatiable mind for creativity.


My name is Coral Michelin Basso, born a very proud brazilian in 1980. Since than I have wandered through the fields of Psychology, Architecture, Music, Arts, Poetry, Cuisine, Photography, Marketing, Advertising and Design - not necessarily in this order. Yes, you can say I'm a generalist. But a generalist with a specialty: creativity.


I am a curious being, always looking for the new, the unexpected, the unknown and the mysterious. A critical being, always looking for perfection, for the "truth" (funny word that is), and the root of every issue. An ambitious being, always looking forward, planning ahead and walking towards the future. I am also a loving being, concerned with the other, with the environment, with my mother nature, my planet and my soul.


But above all I am this creative being, guided by the heart, by the eyes, by the nose and by that extra-sensorial almost inexplicable feeling that is so, so big that the mind has a hard time transforming it into words, pictures and actions.


I've lived in New York, London, Rio de Janeiro, Tel Aviv and Porto Alegre (so far). Studied Marketing and Advertising, and did courses of diverse subjects. Worked with Advertising, Management, Customer Relationship, Graphic Design, Marketing & Strategic Planning, Event production, and as a Dj. Won a prize for my poetry and produced my own "Free-sample Poetry Book".
