Total rebranding for Bar Giyora, a restaurant & bar at the heart of Tel Aviv.
- Bar Giyora Rebranding
- Two years after its opening, time when I was designing Bar Giyora's first identity materials, the establishment was mature enough to understand its own position, clientele and identity. One of the owners, Roi, came up with the request for a new logo, and I took the chance to show them they could develop a complete branding process, starting from the definition of the restaurant's personality. They received the idea so well we started with the logo and we ended up choosing the colors of the walls and the patterns of the sofa's cushions... Together with the rebranding process they hired a consultant Chef to give the kitchen a total makeover, giving it a bit more of a refined taste.Eyal, Roi's partner, was always very participative in the whole process, so he can be considered a co-worker on the project. We wanted a more mature look, something that would fit the location where the restaurant is - at the heart of the city - and would attract the several tourists passing by to come inside, without loosing the soul it always had, of being a cosy place where you could have a cup of coffee, lunch, or some drinks at the bar.The light beige color would be used for the restaurant and the office, the dark brownish purple would suit the downstairs, while the citric green would appear on more promotional uses.
